Want to know more? Here's a closer look at what you can do with Quicken WillMaker Plus:

The heart of every estate plan is a will, also known as a last will and testament. This legal document puts you in control of who inherits your property and who would take care of your children if it were ever necessary. Without a will, state law determines these issues. Your will also allows you to name an executor (sometimes called a “personal representative”) to carry out our wishes. And you can appoint a trusted person to manage property left to young people. With Quicken WillMaker Plus, you can revise and update your will whenever you like.

Ensure that your property bypasses lengthy and expensive probate proceedings.

Spare your loved ones difficult decisions by laying out your wishes for medical care and naming someone to carry out your instructions:
Health Care Power of Attorney: Name a trusted person (your "health care agent") to make important medical decisions for you if necessary.
Living Will: State what types of medical treatment you do or do not want if you are too ill or injured to direct your own care. Your health care providers must do all they can to follow your wishes.

A durable power of attorney ensures that someone you trust (called your "agent" or "attorney-in-fact") will be on hand to manage the many practical, financial tasks that will arise if you become incapacitated. For example, bills must be paid, bank deposits must be made and someone must handle insurance and benefits paperwork. In most cases, a durable power of attorney for finances is the best way to take care of tasks like these. You can also give your attorney-in-fact authority over your digital assets.

Make sure your executor has all the forms and instructions necessary to do the job: checklists, letters, notices and claim forms.

Plan a funeral or other ceremony and ease the burden on your loved ones. Describe your preferences for burial, cremation, memorials, obituaries and more.

Organize your information so that your survivors don't have to. Use these documents to give them details about everything from bank accounts, to passwords, to the names of people you'd like contacted in the event of your illness or death.

Use the Letter to Survivors to leave your loved ones detailed explanations about your decisions. For example, you may want to let them know why you made certain gifts or named a particular person to be your executor. You can also use your letter to leave some general thoughts about your life.

Over a dozen forms let you handle common financial situations, such as lending or borrowing money between friends or family, creating a bill of sale, and closing a credit card account.

Practical forms you can use every day to help run your home and keep your family safe, including authorizations and agreements, promissory notes, limited powers of attorney, and child and elder care forms.

Great Software, some minor problems by Jay L.
Great software. I had to update from old version(PC)2014 to new 2019 version (IOS) Had some problems, but Tech Support helped out.

Only problem now is whenI open the software it wants to start a new document and won't automatically open the old file unless I search My Documentments to find it. (Posted on 11/16/2018)

I’m very happy with your program, I do have 1 suggestion. On each page where you leave something to someone it should have room for a paragraph about what your intentions are for that person (Posted on 11/14/2018)

Owning this product before and using it makes working with it much easier. by Edward J Rollberg Sr.
Although I have not had a chance to complete all of my information into my will I find working with the product before like it works easy. (Posted on 11/14/2018)

Good, with one exception by C R.
Found this easy to use for my situation, an uncomplicated estate.

A drawback found is that a beneficiary has a Mandarin middle name, and when I entered that into the questionnaire, it translated into two question marks in the will (??). Had to delete the middle name from the questionnaire to make those question marks disappear. (Posted on 11/12/2018)

Very Satisfied Customer by Keith G.
Well-organized and easy to use. If you’ve used TurboTax, you’ll feel right at home with the layout. It provides a step-by-step guide to preparing your entire estate plan. I used it to create a will, living trust, advanced health care directive and power-of-attorney for finances. My situation was quite straightforward so I can’t say how appropriate it would be for complex conditions. I’m very happy with my purchase: for less than $100, I was able to produce documentation that would have cost at least $1000 through an attorney. (Posted on 10/5/2018)

Great software. by Michael O.

Excellent Product by Barbara D.
Thorough. Easy to use. A few quibbles--would like to see the ability to modify certain items, but essentially no problems. Highly recommended. (Posted on 9/26/2018)

Walks you through it and makes it easy by Charlotte
Quicken WillMaker Plus 2019 is better than the previous versions we had but never completed. I am glad they took out one part that I didn't like and inserted more options for contingencies so that if your guardian predeceases you, the will has built-in backups so you don't have to redo your will. I like the explanations of what to do and why to do it that way and I like the Self-Approving part of the will. We had earlier versions of this program, but put it off. I am so glad we finally did it. It was really easy and I like the way the program walks you through it. (Posted on 9/23/2018)

Willmaker too simple and not flexible by Nolo C.
I had a will but circumstances dictated that I mad a new one. The willmaker is too simple. For example , I needed to mention that a prenupt is in place and that I have other issues. The willmaker does not let you add any important information. So, finally I copied my old will, modified it and had it notarized.
In all , it was a waste of money

Well organized. Easy to navigate. (Posted on 9/14/2018)

Good product and easy to use. by Bob S.
I bought this version of Willmaker for two reasons. One, as an upgrade to my 2013 version, which is a bit out of date. Two, so that I could complete a Living Trust for our house. After looking at various online tools (Legal Zoom, and that type) I felt comfortable with this product. It is familiar, and had all of my personal information that came over from the older version (contacts and so forth). It did what I hoped it would do, and I have updated my will documents (no need to create a new will). I am pleased overall. (Posted on 9/13/2018)

Great product! by Loreb N.
Easy to follow, state specific, good instructions, saves updates automatically. The PLUS contains other useful documents to add to your wills. Autofill feature saves time and typing. (Posted on 9/13/2018)

Review by Bobby F.
I liked the product, worked good and simple for me to use. Only one area that I found that could use improvement. The allocation of fractional shares ne d improvement. Other than that, I think it’s a great product. (Posted on 9/12/2018)

Review by Robert T.
BIG improvement over earlier version
Really like the ease of getting to appropriate section in "E Manual" (Posted on 9/10/2018)

Easy to Use and Thorough -- Passes Local Attorney Test by Anthony N G.
Easy to use. Guides you through the process thoroughly. Forces you to answer question you may not not have considered as being important in a will. Had a lawyer friend of mine check out the finished product. He could find no flaws or omissions. (Posted on 8/9/2018)

Review by Virginia R.
Very easy to use. Exactly wanted it needed (Posted on 8/1/2018)

Still One of the Best Basic Will Tools Available. by Troy S.
This product was purchased to update the estate of my parents who had not updated their will in over 20 years (that too, using WillMaker). WillMaker Plus came with 1 year free access to the Revocable Living Trust software which is what I was primarily interested in. Between WillMaker Plus and the Trust software, my parents now have a organized estate which includes the trust, pour-over wills, healthcare power of attorney, and financial power of attorney documents in a California-legal format. Getting the product on sale in August was a perk as well. The software is simple and straightforward, just as the Nolo software has always been. In some ways it is a bit too simple, since you can't make minor modifications, but these are legal document templates that are meant for low stress. (Posted on 8/1/2018)
