    Important to Know:

    • If you didn't secure a formal option to extend your lease, but your landlord agrees to an extension, use the "Extension of Commercial Lease" instead of this document.
    • If you and your landlord agree to substantial changes in the lease, use the "Amendment of Commercial Lease" to do so. But if the agreed-upon changes to a lease are numerous or complex, create a new lease.
