Corporate Name Validation

Nolo will perform a name availability search before submitting your formation documents to the state. We ask that you provide two to three name choices for your Corporation and we'll use the first one available. Please do a preliminary name search of your own on your state's Corporation filing office's website— so you can take the time to think about another name if your first choice is taken.

Articles of Incorporation Filing

Nolo will prepare your articles of organization or certificate of formation and send it to the Secretary of State. Your Corporation will be formed on the date that the Corporation filing office receives the document.

Minutes for first board meeting

Nolo will prepare minutes of your first meeting of the board of directors, which includes the election of directors and officers and a resolution to set up bank accounts.

IRS Application for EIN

Nolo will prepare IRS Form SS-4, your application for an employer identification number (the business tax ID number issued by the IRS). We will email you your completed SS-4 application to you with your final corporation documents. You simply sign it and fax it or send it to the IRS.
