- Use an " Attachment to Contract" if you need to include specifications, parts lists, drawings or other details. You'll also want to use an attachment if the buyer will pay for the goods in installments.
- If payment is to be made in installments, you may want to use a "Security Agreement for Sale of Goods".
- Note that contracts don't complete sales -- for that, you'll need a "Bill of Sale for Goods."
Sometimes the goods a buyer wants to purchase don't exist yet -- for example, a uniquely designed coffee table. Or perhaps they exist, but must be modified or customized to fit a buyer's requirements -- such as t-shirts displaying a company logo.
Use this form when you agree to make or customize goods for a buyer. It will detail the specifics: the purchase price, down payment, method of payment, time of payment, delivery date and location -- and more.
